Wavefront-Vision technology is the newest method and the most accurate measurement of vision of the human eye. The precise fingerprint-like image, WavePrintTM, measures vision in thousands of places simultaneously … in microseconds, using a single laser beam of light. Omni Eye Center - Laser Vision is one of the first centers in the country to be able to offer this technology to patients and the first in Oklahoma. What is Wavefront-Vision?Wavefront-Vision measures the vision correction required at multiple points and presents your doctor with a three-dimensional map of the many different unique prescriptions of your eye instead of the average prescription. The measurements aid in your doctor's ability to diagnose and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and particularly perform laser vision procedures. With the measurements of the distortions (aberrations) in the visual system, customized laser programs are able to correct vision precisely to match the individual WavePrintTM of your eye.
